Get a haircut and get a real job!
Today I went and got a haircut because I was tired of it being so long. It was a lot of fun and was good practice for speaking Spanish. I still didn’t understand some of the things he said, but it’s okay, I’m understanding more than I would have 3 weeks ago. Growth, I love it! I was able to ask for exactly what I wanted (as in, I printed of a picture and expressed to him that I wanted a haircut like it) and was also able to ask him to cut it shorter. One of the greatest things that I’m learning is how to deal with people. One of the things that I’m most excited about bringing back to the States is a better ability to deal with people better. I imagine having to ask people for things in a foreign language will make it easier in a language that I grew up speaking. Here’ some before and after pictures: Before:
